Sell House As-Is
Did you know that there’s a difference between selling your home to a traditional buyer and selling your home to OutFactors? But if you sell your home to a cash buyer like OutFactors, you can sell it “as-is.” Why go through the stress and aggravation of making repairs when you can get the same amount of cash and just “Sell House As-Is”?
Avoid Paying Commissions
When you sell your home, you want to get the most money possible out of it. So why would you give a large portion of that money to a real estate agent? Sure, some people turn to agents when trying to sell their houses, and experienced agents may indeed be able to help you find a buyer. However, you’ll be missing out on a significant chunk of change once they take their 6% off the top, which translates into thousands of dollars. Since OutFactors buys homes for cash and buys directly, you will get all the money you’re due.

History of Princeton, Texas
Train Depot to Rural Suburb
Princeton is a rural suburb of Dallas, Texas near the intersections of U.S. Highway 380 and Farm to Market Road 982 in east-central Collin County.
The area was first settled in the 1870s with T.B. Wilson and his brother George being one of the first to establish a farm in what would become Princeton. The area changed from a simple farming community to a business and transportation hub when in 1881 the Missouri, Kansas, and Texas Railroad extended its tracks from Greenville to McKinney, with a new stop on the land owned by the Wilson Brothers. For the next 7 years, the newly formed community and train stop was named Wilson’s Switch, but when an application for a post office was submitted in 1888, it was discovered that a Texas post office named Wilson already existed. The community, train stop, and the newly formed post office were renamed Princeton, in honor of local landowner and town promoter Prince Dowlin. By mid-1912, the town of Princeton was officially incorporated with John K. Wilson serving as the first mayor.
Princeton is part of the rich agricultural region called Blackland Prairie, and farming was the main economic driver; but with the addition of the rail line, it also served as the retail and commercial center for the area. In a very short period, Princeton had several mills, grain elevators, and a lumber factory that became the largest producer of bois d’arc lumber in Texas. By the mid-1920s, Princeton had over 25 businesses which included a bank, newspaper, and the town provided electricity, water, and natural gas to about 400 of its residents. By 1930, the population was approximately 450 residents.
In 1940, a migrant worker camp was constructed on the west side of Princeton and was used to house the migrant field workers who came to the area during the onion and cotton harvest season. The camp contained a 30,000-gallon water tank and 76 wood cabins that were equipped with 2 beds, 4 chairs, an oil cookstove, and an oil heater. At its peak, the camp housed 300 to 400 workers but that changed in early 1945 when it was converted into a German prisoner of war camp. At the end of the war, it again became a seasonal migrant worker camp. By the early 1950s, the population of Princeton had risen to about 550 residents.
After the war, Princeton experienced slow but steady growth that was helped by the construction of nearby Lake Lavon. By 1980, Princeton had over 30 businesses and the population had increased to over 3,400 residents but it remained a largely agricultural community. The population dwindled for the next 10 years, and by 1990, the population was below 2,400 but the growth rebounded by 2000 fueled by the rapid growth of Dallas and nearby Plano, which became the business center for Collin County.
Today, Princeton covers 10 square miles with a population of approximately 6,300 residents. The town retains its agricultural economy but is changing as the continued growth transforms Princeton into a rural suburban community.
